“CHOOSING YOUR FIRST KAYAK”

I will be at the Laacke & Joys Paddlefest weekend on May 21 & 22, 2011 doing my presentation on choosing a kayak.  I will talk about the differences between recreational, whitewater, and sea kayaks and some basics of hull design.  There will also be important information for those considering the option of sit-on-top and tandem kayaks and suggestions for ways to get the most out of your test-paddling.  There is always a lot of time for specific questions that you may have about kayaks before test paddling or purchasing.
